Lemongrass for the Body and the Soul

Lemongrass Powder, Raw and Vegan, Herbal Supplement

The culinary herb is produced from the stalk of the lemongrass plant (Cymbopogon citratus). This plant grows in many tropical climates, most notably in Southeast Asia.

It is a common ingredient in Thai cooking and can also be found in dishes from Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and India.

In general health, Lemongrass is commonly taken orally, applied directly to the skin, or inhaled as aromatherapy for many different conditions. The name lemongrass is derived from the typical lemon-like odour of the essential oil present in the shoot.

Our 100% Pure, Organic, Natural Lemongrass Powder is an excellent ingredient for a refreshing Lemongrass Tea.

1) Combine Lemongrass Powder with Tea powder in boiling water.

2) Safely boil for 2 - 3 minutes

3) Add sugar, honey, or any other sweetener. Strain and serve.

Another method is to take 2 teaspoons of Lemongrass powder, a small piece of freshly crushed ginger and 1 clove. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes, strain and serve.

Lemongrass might help prevent the growth of some bacteria and yeast. Lemongrass also contains substances that are thought to relieve pain and swelling, reduce fever, improve levels of sugar and cholesterol in the blood, stimulate the uterus and menstrual flow, and have antioxidant properties.
